At around 2:30 am this morning some of the residents at Chief Natufe Street Bode Thomas Surelere witnessed some difastating occurence described as a Drastic & confussing scene. Some guessed the man was trying to stop them from operating within the neighbourhood. a security man in neighbourhood "egbami ooo egbami oo ole ni" and she stood beside the window to peep closely and saw about three hefty bodied men provocatively hiting and banding the elderly man who is reportedly their security man fondly called 'Baba. This three young men kept beating him without mentioning exactly what the innocent elderly man did to deserve such a toture they pushed him to the guter soak him up there they also confirmed to AbgMol that after 10 minute of toture they left and came back with different shapes and sizes of ply wood
and continue hammering it on the Baba's head and gently left when the Baba fell on the ground and fainted at about 2:48.
When it was about 5:55am, majority of the residence came out to meet baba to actually ask him what realy happened and why he was attacked, but the elderlyman was full tears as he put his head down blood and tears was dripping from the left corners of his head. I was such a pathetic sight so the Vice Chairman of the community suggested the man should be rushed to hospital.
Baba was helped to the car and has since then been taken to Genereal Hospital at Randle Road, Surulere.
