Single Ladies are anxious to be married but are they prepared for parenting? Ask anyone who is a parent, it is the higher institution of marriage. You cannot be a good parent if you lack values and discipline yourself. You cannot be a good parent if you are interested in having nannies raise your children while you still behave like when you were single. Children are a huge responsibility and what you put into them is what they will put out into the world. Why is the world so broken today? Everything starts from the home. Somewhere along the line, people have forgotten about parenting. The children of today cannot be compared to the children of older generations. Today's parents are more interested in maintaining their youth and accomplishments than sacrificing that to be good parents. Today's parents are busy outsourcing parenting to day cares and nannies while they pursue their goals.
God gives children to us so innocent and beautiful but many of them end up rotten because of their evil foundation in homes that don't care to raise them properly. And these children are infecting other children in the world with their bold, brash and bad ways. This does not make God happy at all. Once you become a parent, everything changes. Children must be a priority until you have prepared them adequately for life before you can chase those dreams. Nothing on earth should be given higher importance than your marriage and children. Any job or dream that will not let you be a good wife and Mom must be placed on hold until your family is at a stage they can handle it. If you let other people raise your children, who raised those other people? Do those people have God and values and morals instilled in them? You will end up with children you don't recognize and who will not let you have peace in your old age. Be active and present in your children's lives. Good parenting is a worthy sacrifice, so embrace it earnestly. The children who are raised right are the ones who will do this world a whole lot of good. Selah!
“Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6 NKJV
